Tydings & Rosenberg LLP announces that L. Content McLaughlin has joined the firm as an associate in its Estates and Trust Department. McLaughlin’s practice includes estate planning and administration and trust administration, as well as business and tax planning.

W. Franklin Coppersmith, III, has been promoted to Deputy General Counsel at DuPont Photomask, Inc., in Round Rock, Texas. The company manufactures photomasks, a critical component in the production of semiconductors.

Washingtonian magazine has named Laura Kelsey Rhodes, a founding member at the Rockville firm of Albright & Rhodes, LLC, one of the Washington-area’s best criminal defense attorneys for 2004. Rhodes combines her criminal practice with representation of immigrants in deportation and asylum proceedings.

Shelly R. Culhane, an attorney with the firm of Chapman, Bowling & Scott, P.A., has been elected to serve a one-year term as chair for the Board of Directors of Hospice of Charles County, Inc.
