Fastcase, the newer, faster one-stop shop for legal research, is available at an unbeatable price for MSBA members: FREE!

The Fastcase database is proving its power as a resourceful and easy-to-use research tool. Access to this portal is FREE and available as a member benefit of the Maryland State Bar Association. The accelerated features of the Fastcase library provide law-specific research portals uniquely tailored for the legal community.

Founded by lawyers for lawyers a decade ago, Fastcase is a point-source hub of over a million cases, statutes and regulations, virtually bringing the entire American Law Library to your desktop. Today, its resourcefulness, as well as its ease with which it offers access to 50 state and federal case law databases, is compounding Fastcase’s name recognition exponentially.

Already, MSBA Members like Denese Dominguez are taking advantage of quick access to legal documents using Fastcase. “I use Fastcase to get the general gist,” says Dominguez.

To encourage members to take full advantage of its features, Fastcase will host a two-part training series to teach program basics. Several sessions will be held through December 2, 2009, for members interested in learning how to use the program. To register for the training, or for more information, visit www.msba.org/calendar/flyers/FastcaseCLE.pdf
