Recent Committee projects have included lunchtime Public
Law Forums at the University of Maryland School of Law on cyber-safety, the
death penalty, homeland security v.s. civil liberties, and the legal aspects
of downloading music. Day long Law Day projects have included a look at Brown
vs. Board of Education, and the importance of the right to trial by jury to
our community. The Committee sponsors the popular public information brochure
series and the MSBA Speakers' Bureau.
