MSBA Business Law Section

The Maryland State Bar Association Courthouse Identification Badge is available to any attorney who has been admitted to practice law in this state, who is currently a member of the bar in good standing, and who is currently certified by the Court of Appeals as an active practitioner.

Mentoring Program

The MSBA sponsors this program to assist newer, less experienced members of the bar. It provides a resource for attorneys to seek and receive advice or discuss concern about law office management, escrow accounts, procedural issues and many other topics.

Section Council Appointment Procedure

The Section has a nominating committee appointed by the Chair, which presently consists of the current officers and such past chairs. It solicits nominations for positions from members of the Council and tries to include a cross -section of people as members of the Council, i.e., large and small firms, women and minorities, and age and geographic diversity.
