This Section hosted CLE programs, including the January program “How to Rate Psychiatric Conditions Under the AMA Guidelines”, which had a panel consisting of two psychiatrists, a workers’ compensation commissioner, and a Circuit Court judge. It monitored proposed legislation and will present the outreach program dealing with pain management at Solo Day at the MSBA Annual Meeting. |
PURPOSE:

The purpose of this Section is to promote the objects of the Maryland State Bar Association within the particular fields of negligence, insurance and worker's
compensation, and to that end, to further the development of the law of these issues; to
stimulate and extend the study of these fields of the law, to cooperate in obtaining
legislation and administration in all matters concerning negligence, insurance and
worker's compensation, and to simplify and improve the application of justice in these
fields of the Law.
