Resolution of Fee Disputes Committee

The Resolution of Fee Disputes Committee is charged with overseeing the MSBA's Fee Dispute program by working with both parties to amicably resolve disputes. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the Committee may also assign client representatives and arbitrate disputes consistent with the policies approved by the MSBA Board of Governors.

Online Complaint Submission

This program benefits the public, but also members of the MSBA by allowing attorneys to utilize the program to negotiate a resolution with their clients. Both clients and MSBA Attorneys may file “complaints” with the committee, and use the volunteer program to help facilitate settlements.
