Join the MSBA for the newest virtual presentation of the Winning Your Case with a Better Memory on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Improving memory, as some would say, is a lot like the weather; it’s something we talk about, but can’t change. Until now. We may not be able to change the forecast, but national speaker and author Paul Mellor will dispel the myth that memory can’t be improved. It can. In its simplest form, Mellor will illustrate why we can recall certain events, and why we can’t. Using principles of association and mental anchors, attendees will learn skills on how to retain information quickly and accurately.

As attorneys, a strong memory is an advantage in winning cases. This program gives step-by-step instructions on how to master your mind enabling you to recall case law, speak in court without notes, and how to get through the day without the fear of forgetting. The program is interactive, and stress-free, as Mellor weaves real-life examples on how to retain information, whether it’s recalling lists, tasks, or names and faces.

When you’re skilled in memory, all your other skills improve. Sign up for this all-important program … but please, do it now before you forget.

Paul Mellor , author of Memory Skills for Lawyers, was a finalist in the USA Memory Championship, where he recalled the names of over 90 people in less than 15 minutes, remembered in exact order over 100 single-digit numbers after a five-minute study, and recalled the exact order of a shuffled deck of playing cards after less than a three-and-a-half minute review. His engaging and energetic programs have been delivered to Bar associations and law firms nationwide. A Communications graduate of Western Carolina University, Mr. Mellor is also the author of You’re Almost There, chronicling his journey as having run a marathon (26.2 miles) in all 50 states, and Summer in the Saddle, about his 4700-mile bicycle ride across America.

Two hours of CLE credit will be offered by the surrounding MCLE states. If you’re unable to attend the live virtual program, it will be recorded and available to you to view later. You can pre-purchase the OnDemand by scrolling below.
